Die Ontario Hockey League (kurz OHL) ist eine der drei kanadischen Top-Juniorenligen, die die Canadian Hockey League bilden. Die anderen beiden Ligen sind die WHL und die LHJMQ. In der Liga dürfen nur Spieler zwischen 15 und 20 Jahren spielen. Die meisten Teams sind aus Ontario, Kanada, aber einige stammen auch aus Michigan oder Pennsylvania. Das All-Star Game 2007 wird in Saginaw, Michigan stattfinden. Das ist das erste Mal, dass ein OHL-All-Star Game in den USA stattfindet. Die OHL entstand 1980 nahtlos aus der OHA, die schon seit 1896 existierte.

Seit der Spaltung der Juniorenränge in Junior A und Junior B im Jahr 1933 spielen die A-Junioren in Ontario um den J. Ross Robertson Cup, welcher nach einem ehemaligen OHA-Präsidenten benannt ist. 1971 wurde er auch zu Ontarios wichtigster Junior-Trophäe. Die Trophäe erhält seit 1981 der OHL-Champion.
