A Guide Book of United States Coins, by Richard (R. S.) Yeoman, is a pricing guide for United States coin collectors, and is considered one of the most authoritative coin-price sources. It has been published annually since 1946.
Its hardcover editions have a solid red cover, resulting in the book being referred to as the Red Book. It also comes as a paperback or spiral bound book.
The "Red Book" tells the retail value of all United States coins from Colonial Issues to the modern day $100 Platinum Bullion coin, as well as other significant U.S. Patterns, Private and Territorial Gold, Private tokens, Confederate issues, Hawaiian Tokens and Coins, Philippine Issues and Alaskan Tokens.
