Agnome (アグノム Agunomu?) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. Agnome is a legendary Pokémon that premiers in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The purpose of Agnome in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

[edit] Biological characteristics
Agnome has a small blue body about the size of Mew. It has a blue cone shaped head with a jewel encrested in its forehead and also two blue dropping ears. Like Yuxie and Emurit, its partners in the legendary trio, it has two tails with jewels encrested on them, and its only major difference from them is its head and its face.
Agnome is reffered to as the "god of will". Residing and sleeping at the base of a lake, it keeps the world in balance. It makes people both give up on something and also makes them want to try the activity again and again. [3]
[edit] In the video games
Agnome is one of the legendary Pokemon in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It is part of a psychic trio along with Yuxie and Emurit. All three of them are captured by Team Galaxy, and have to be freed by the protagonist. They will try to stop Dialga or Palkia from overwhelming Sinnoh later in the game.
After defeating Dialga or Palkia, Agnome will flee to Aspiration Lake, where it can be captured. It is at level 50, like Emurit and Yuxie.
Among the three, Agnome has the highest Attack, Special Attack and Speed.
