[edit] Plot
Ray Santelli, with his friend Gary, go to America to find Elvis memorabilia. Harvey, a former combat photographer sells them a film and returns. Ray and Harvey go to Miami, Florida to see an autopsy of an alien. Harvey wants $30000 for the film. Gary and Ray look for an investor to give them the money. A Hungarian art dealer, who was obsessed with crop circles, Lazlo Borage, gave Ray the $30000 after reassuring Borage that he told the truth. Harvey gets the money and gives the film to them. Unfortunately, the film ate itself, so the duo decide to fake it, to remain on the good side of Borage. Once finished, they give it to Borage, who gets killed naked in a crop circle by a green Land Rover. It eventually gets shown all over the world who believe it, so they sell it to the highest bidder in each world territory. Harvey finds out and gives them 48 hours to pull it off the air. They ignore him and offers a TV exec an interview with him, except it is only a homeless man who used to be an actor. The film ends with the original film being delivered to them, with some of the film remade. After watching, they bury it and tell each other they can't go through with it again.
[edit] Trivia
- Son of Dork wrote the song "We're Not Alone" for the soundtrack. The song was never released as a single.
