Andrew R. Ciesla

Andrew R. Ciesla (born July 24, 1953) is an American Republican Party politician, who has served in the New Jersey Senate since 1992, where he represents the 10th legislative district. From 1994 to 1997, Ciesla was the Assistant Majority Leader in the Senate. Senator Ciesla serves on the Transportation Committee and the Environment Committee
From 1987-1991, Ciesla served on the Brick Township Council and he served as President of the Council from 1989 to 1990.
Ciesla was a delegate to the 1992 Republican National Convention.
Ciesla graduated from Point Pleasant High School in 1971. He graduated with a B.A. Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 1975 and was awarded an M.P.A. from Syracuse University in 1976.

Each of the forty districts in the New Jersey Legislature has one representative in the New Jersey Senate and two members in the New Jersey General Assembly. The other representatives from the 10th Legislative District are:
