[edit] Ecopave Australia, Geo320
Company with no indication of notability per WP:CORP. Most (not all, and it's used with permission) of the article is cut and pasted from their website, telling about the company history. 118 unique hits on google out of 774, no hits on google news or factiva. Ecopave, a neologism the same creators are trying to push, was already deleted through afd. The same creators have also created several other pages including Mastic roller hybrid, Geo320 and Cereplast advertising their products and spamming links to them and their websites from several pages. - Bobet 09:09, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

- Note I have added Geo320 to this AFD. Clearly part of the same discussion. Fan-1967 15:12, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

- Delete per nom, and take a look at the other articles connected to this company. — QuantumEleven 09:48, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
This means that to be fair and democratic all the other similar "company" entries and their contributions in Wikipedia should also be deleted, Webmasters 11:25, 5 October 2006 (UTC) Ecopave Australia has given copyright permission to use its article in Wikipedia, this appears to be an attempt to "silence" free information in Wikipedia by few with some invested interest?. furthermore Ecopave Australia has only wanted to help by contributing with articles that are cutting edge on its technological field thereby furthering information and "knowledge", Also it naturally follows that all the relative words in the articles have to be linked in wikipedia to expand the articles into other relevant areas of interest. Webmasters 11:30, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
In relation to Cereplast, they are a company dealing also in products made from renewable resources as Ecopave Australia and since our world is in a state of clobal climate change and suffocating in carbon dioxide, it is imperative that new alternatives are researched are found to replace petroleum derived materials which are in a state off peaking and destroying our world anyway. This also looks for some reason like an attack by the "Finnish" community?? but the question is why? Webmasters 11:39, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Bobet has a Finnish background so maby this has something to do with this un-called for attack? maby its related to some kind of nationalistic envy based on pride?? Webmasters 11:44, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

- Comment I guess as an American I must not have heard about the deep, dark Finnish conspiracy against Australian companies. Silly me, I just assumed Bobet nominated it for deletion because it's blatant self-promotional spam. Fan-1967 14:40, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: Wikipedia has clear guidelines on what should be included in Wikipedia. In the case of companies/corporations, the organisations need to be notable (see: WP:NOTABILITY and WP:CORP. MidgleyDJ 11:47, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Ecopave GEO320 was featured in United Nations Environment program [1], then that's quite notable since over 100 environment ministers from around the world attended that congress meeting where many eco friendly products were show cased from around the world and only 5 products were chosen to be mentioned on the UNEP website, Also if Bobet believes that information is advertising and linking words witin that article and adding external links as a reference sourse is spamming then that's his perogative . Furthermore to accuse Ecopave Australia for "spamming" would be considered defamation by some,Webmasters 12:11, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Delete spam. It's a great shame that the three accounts involved here have chosen to engage in what amounts to an astroturfing campaign, instead of taking the trouble to learn our policies and other rules and contribute to the existing articles on roadstone and coating technologies, an interesting and under-represented area where my experience is a decade or more out of date. Yes, there is a lot to be said, but not in these terms, please. Guy 12:54, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

- Delete per Guy. The copyright notice is also worrisome. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 13:41, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
The copyright you are looking at Andrew Lenahan is the exact one "specified by Wikipedia! Helping 13:44, 5 October 2006 (UTC) I think this article has attracted some very emotional views which is understandable, afterall our planet is gasping for air, Helping 13:48, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Delete: Blatant astroturfing. You are only notable when others write about you, not when you decide to write about yourself. -- Netsnipe ► 13:51, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
I think that Wikipedia should introduce"Automatic Refresh" of articles so as to prevent people deleting articles based on a whim especially before they have had a chance to be discussed properly by other users or voted on, Helping 13:59, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy delete as spam - guess who created the article? So tagged. MER-C 14:09, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete as blatant Spam. I have also tagged Geo320 as db-spam (product from the company, created by the same author. Fan-1967 14:29, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Procedural note: Ecopave (talk • contribs • page moves • block user • block log), Webmasters (talk • contribs • page moves • block user • block log), Fact idiot (talk • contribs • page moves • block user • block log) and Helping (talk • contribs • page moves • block user • block log) are as of this moment indefinitely blocked for spamming and sockpuppetry. If this person would like to pick one account and start working with us instead of against us then perhaps progress could be made. Guy 15:48, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
