Bau Xi Gallery

Bau Xi Gallery is located directly across the street from the Art Gallery of Ontario on Dundas Street West, in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Unlike the AGO, there is no admission charge to visit the Bau Xi Gallery but the selection and presentation of artwork is just as good. With the closing of the AGO for final renovations, the Bau-Xi is even more of a gem.
The gallery typically features paintings, all of which are for sale, but offers several interesting sculptures as well. Most of the artists are Canadian with a few Americans.
Established in 1965, the gallery is one of the most established in town, staff is incredibly knowledgeable but still laid back enough to let visitors just browse and appreciate the artwork.
