Bayfront MRT station, is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line Phase 1 in Singapore that is under construction, formerly known as the Downtown Extension. It shall connect the proposed integrated resort at Marina Bay to the current Circle Line as well as also the North East Line at the Chinatown MRT Station. The purpose of the station is to generally improve connectivity and accessibility in the area and from other lines, as much of it is recently reclaimed land to be developed in the next ten to twenty years.
