Bexbach Power Station

The Bexbach Power Station is a German hard coal power station. It lies with Bexbach in the Saarland and has an output of 773 megawatts. It is the most efficient power station in the Saarland, with an efficiency from 40% is it besides the most efficient hard coal power station in Germany (conditions 2005). On the coal camp of the power station can be provided with stock up to 200.000 tons of coal. At the location BEX brook was established to 1953 a power station for the first time, the power station pc. Barbara. This power station had at the beginning of only one output of 100 MW. 1979 finally began the building today's power station BEX brook, which went to 1983 into enterprise.
