[edit] The Video
Jay Kay discovers a poster of himself saying "BURGLAR STOP HIM". He is then chased through the backstreets of a city by a mob, eventually car-jacking a moped then a BMW M5 and once in the car, being chased by the police at night. The following morning he is still driving and picks up someone - Jamiroquai drummer Derrick McKenzie - under a bridge. The two are found by a Police Helicopter and run into a warehouse. Jay runs up the stairs following Derrick (now in a mask). Once they reach the roof, Derrick launches himself over a gap between buildings. With the mob after him, Jay sizes up the jump and the last shot is of him leaping over the gap to escape capture by the mob and the police officers.
[edit] Trivia
- There are two versions of the video for the song - one is the regular one, and the other one is the so-called "short version", where the video is a few seconds shorter than in the original. The shortened version has only been broadcast in Japan.
- At point 0.32 into the "non-shortened" video, one can see an easter egg - the logo of the third Jamiroquai album, Travelling without Moving is painted on a wooden panel which is lying on the ground in the alley.
