Camberley Town are a semi-professional football club from the town of Camberley that was founded in 1895. It currently has two senior sides, one of which will play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division in 2006/07 season and one in the Suburban League South. The club's best ever performance in the FA Cup came in 1998 when they reached the 1st Round proper against Brentford which they lost 5–0 away.
Camberley have just been approved a number of grants in which they will gain a new 500 seater stand, an artificial turf pitch, a sports hall and a personal club gym. The club will offer this to the public in a bid to make more ties with the community.
They also make ties with the community by having a thriving youth setup, which has recently achieved charter status. This is for children of all ages from under 6 all the way to under 18. Youths between the ages of 15 and 18 that show a lot of talent and play with ability will have the chance to play in the Camberley Town allied counties youth squad, which is the feeder to the senior squad. The allied counties side is made up of the best and most talented players in the surrounding districts and have players have usually played at either county standard or been released from an academy. In 2004/2005 the youth team got to the final of the Hampshire Youth Cup.
