Charles Edward Smith IV (born November 29, 1967 in Washington, D.C.) is a former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. A 6'1" guard, he played for the Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 1990s, averaging 2.5 points per game for his career.
Smith attended Georgetown University in his hometown of Washington. He was the Big East Men's Basketball Player of the Year in 1989.
Smith also played for he United States 1988 Men's Olympic Basketball Team, the last American team not to feature professionals.
