Christopher "Christie Tick" Furnari, Sr. (b. 1927) was a New York mobster and consiglieri to the Lucchese crime family during the 1980s. Operating within the Bronx, he was involved in illegal gambling, hijacking and loanshark operations.
With a criminal record including convictions for assault and sex offenses, Furnari was convicted of extortion and labor racketeering with several high ranking members of the Lucchese crime family (including Lucchese boss Anthony "Fat Tony" Salerno) under the RICO Act in 1987 and eventually prohibited from participating in the activities of any labor union. Following his conviction, Furnari was ordered to pay a $240,900 fine and sentenced to one hundred years imprisonment and, as of 2006, is presently still serving his prison term.
