Danbury Railway Museum

The Danbury Railway Museum is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to operate a railway museum in Danbury, Connecticut to educate the public as to the history of railroading and the role of the railroads as part of our local and national heritage. It is located on White Street.In the museum, people are also allowed to ride in a train every half hour. The ride takes 25 minutes long and on the way back to the museum, passengers are allowed to ride on the turntable and go inside the cabooses, steam locomotives and a passenger diesel.
