Daytrotter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daytrotter is a website which is the home of the Daytrotter Session. A Daytrotter Session is an analog recording, often made using a collection of vintage instruments at Futureapple Tree Studio One in Rock Island, IL. Each session features a musician or band, or possibly a combination of members of two different bands. Typically the bands will record four songs. Often the songs are previously unreleased material, perhaps a song that the band is working out for a future recording. Daytrotter is also one of the only sites that has original illustrations that accompany all articles, reviews and sessions.
The Daytrotter Sessions were inspired by the Peel Sessions.
