Elvira Possekel is a German athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres.
She competed for West Germany in the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada in the 4 x 100 metres where she won the silver medal with her team mates 100 metres bronze medalist Inge Helten, Olympic 100 metre champion Annegret Richter and Annegret Kroniger.
