Embu District

Embu District is an administrative District in the Eastern Province of Kenya. Its capital town is Embu. The district has a population of 278,196 [1]
Embu district has three local authorities: Embu municipality, Embu county council and Runyenjes municipality.
The district is divided into five administrative divisions:
- Embu Central
- Kyeni
- Manyatta
- Nembure
- Runyenjes
The district has two constituencies: Manyatta and Runyenjes.
