Fu Jen Catholic University (Traditional Chinese: 輔仁大學, Tongyong Pinyin: FǔRén DàSyué, Wade-Giles: Fu3-jen2 Ta4-hsüeh2, Hanyu Pinyin: Fǔrén Dàxué) is a private university in Sinjhuang, Taipei County, Taiwan, Republic of China.
The university was originally established in Peking (Beijing) in 1925 by the Benedictines of St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe, Pennsylvania at request of the Holy See, and recreated after Chinese Civil War in Taiwan in 1960. Its remanant in Beijing was merged into Beijing Normal University in 1952.
Fu-Jen is now a comprehensive, four-year university with graduate programs in various areas. It contains ten colleges or independent academic bodies, including College of Liberal Arts (文學院), College of Foreign Languages and Literatures (外語學院), College of Sciences and Engineering (理工學院), College of Law (法學院), College of Management (管理學院), College of Human Ecology (民生學院), College of Fine Arts (藝術學院), Graduate School of Social Sciences (社會科學院), a newly founded College of Medical Science (醫學院), and School of Continuing Education (進修部), excluding a proposed College of Mass Communication (傳播學院) comprised of departments of Journalism, Advertisement, and Visual Communication. A theological seminary is attached to its campus.
