Gordon/Evernham Motorsports
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gordon/Evernham Motorsports was a NASCAR Busch Series race team co-owned by Brooke Gordon (Jeff Gordon's ex-wife) and Ray Evernham. In 1999 the Pepsi sponsored cars ran six races in the Busch series with Jeff Gordon as driver and Evernham as crew chief. DuPont sponsored the #24 car in two races in 1999 with driver Ricky Hendrick and Evernham on the box. Due to offers from Dodge, Evernham sold his half of GEM to Rick Hendrick at the end of 1999. Jeff Gordon ran the GEM cars in 2000 under the title JG Motorsports.
