Human (Dungeons & Dragons)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Humans are a race available for player characters in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. Although short-lived by comparison, humans are the most populous of all Dungeons & Dragons races. They are renowned for their diversity and ambition, and although they lack specializations like other races, they can excel in many areas. Subspecies of humans include the planetouched Aasimars, Genasis, and Tieflings.
[edit] Benefits and Penalties
Humans can take any class as its favored class. Furthermore, humans get feat and skill bonuses.
[edit] Humans in Dragonlance
Humans are the most common life civilized species on Krynn, the fictional planet in the Dragonlance series of fantasy novels. They were created by Gilean, a neutral god. He gave them short lifetimes to be neutral, and so in this short life they are likely to be of many and varied alignment, unlike elves or ogres. Most countries are populated by humans, with the exceptions of Qualinesti and Silvanesti, as well as lands such as Mithas, land of the minotaurs.
