International Thespian Festival

The International Thespian Festival in an annual week-long festival that brings together U.S. high school theatre clubs, thespian troupes, and programs. It is held every year in late June on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. During the week-long festival, high school students (and their teachers/parents) can watch and produce full-length and one-act plays, attend a plethora of workshops (ranging from acting to playwrighting to stage lighting to Broadway's fight on AIDS, and even a workshop on power napping), and compete in various acting events (competitors advanced from state level competition).
