James Fitzpatrick (hurler)

[[James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick]] (born 31 January 1985) is an Irish sportsperson. He currently plays in the centre-field position on the Kilkenny senior hurling team.
Cha Fitzpatrick was born in Ballyhale, County Kilkenny in 1985. He was educated locally and later studied mechanical engineering at University College Cork. Fitzpatrick plays his local club hurling with Ballyhale Shamrocks. Since beginning his playing career at senior inter-county level he has won 1 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 2 Leinster Championship medals and 2 National Hurling League medals. Fitzpatrick also has a host of underage awards, including back-to-back All-Ireland minor medals in 2002 and 2003 and a Leinster Under-21 medal from 2004 when he captained the side.
