Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is a forthcoming Bollywood film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta and Preity Zinta in lead roles. It is directed by Shaad Ali who earlier directed the 2005 hit Bunty Aur Babli. The film will be produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under Yash Raj Films. Shooting began in the second half of 2006 in London and will include a shooting schedule in Paris, France [1]. The film will release in May 2007. It was announced in September 2006 that the Chelsea football team will be part of the film. [2]

- John Abraham was originally approached for a role in the film, but after he declined, Bobby Deol got the role.
- For the first time Abhishek Bachchan and Bobby Deol will work together. Their fathers (Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra) worked together in the hit Sholay (1975). [3]
- The film re-unites Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta. The last time they worked together was in Soldier in 1998. [4]
- Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will be doing an item number in the film. [5]
- Filming has taken place in numerous locations along Green Lanes, Harringay in North London.
