John Colum Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marquess of Bute (born 26 April 1958, Rothesay, Isle of Bute), styled Earl of Dumfries before 1993 and from this courtesy title usually known as Johnny Dumfries, is a Scottish peer and a former racing driver. He won the 1984 British Formula Three Championship. He participated in 16 Formula One grands prix, debuting on 23 March 1986, and scored a total of 3 championship points. In 1988 Crichton-Stuart won the 24 hours of Le Mans driving the No. 2 Silk Cut sponsored Jaguar XJR9, partnered by Andy Wallace and Jan Lammers.
He ranked 121st in the Sunday Times Rich List 2004, with an estimated wealth of £337m.
Crichton-Stuart is the son of the 6th Marquess of Bute and the former Beatrice Weld-Forester. In 1984, he married Carolyn Waddell and they were divorced in 1993. They had three children:

- Lady Cathleen Crichton-Stuart (b. 1986)
- John Crichton-Stuart, Lord Mount Stuart (b. 21 December 1989)
He raced in Formula 1 in 1986 competing in 16 Gands Prix for Team Lotus, then using Renault engines. His team-mate for that season was the legendary Brazilian Ayrton Senna.
He also has a daughter with his second wife: Serena, Marchioness of Bute
Her name is Lady Lola Affrica Crichton-Stuart (b. 1999)
