EG Toons, or Elliott Gibezzi Toons, was founded by actor/author Joshua Elliott (also chairman of Broken sword productions), and animator Marcello Gibezzi (also animator for the cartoon "Catalyst") in 2004. The aim of the company was to give people an insight into the warped minds of it's creators in the form of amusing, and sometimes terrifying, cartoons. Notable toons include the Quackapus, Captain Rebeard...and others. To list all the toons would be impossible, and all will be available on the official website shortly.

[edit] Humble beginnings
Both Elliott and Gibezzi began drawing cartoons at the back of school excercise books, much to the annoyance of various teachers at their mutual school - Wimbledon College - most noteably Miss Ladeucer, who's french lessons sparked off the formation of the company itself.
[edit] Other projects
Other projects released through the Elliott Gibezzi Corporation included EG Boxes (which specialized in quality packaging) and EG Noodlewhiches (which specialized in amazing foodstuffs). Another noteable project was EG Comics, which was a darker version of Toons, and allowed the creators to go places they were unable to do so with Toons. All these projects were unsuccessful in comparison with EG Toons (although EG Comics is rumoured to be returning soon), and the EG Corporation went bankrupt. EG Toons, however, was saved with it's introduction into the Broken sword productions family.
[edit] Films produced by EG Toons
"Bad Egg" was a one off animated short released in 2005 starring the successful EG Toons characters - the pixies. Other films are coming soon, and Marcello Gibezzi's "Catalyst" is currently in production.
Broken Sword Productions started off as a theatre company in 2002, founded by Joshua Elliott, Aleksander Hancock, and James Humphrey whilst at their old school - Wimbledon College. The company put on many plays including variations of; Romeo & Juliet, A Pardoner's Tale, Macbeth and their own version of Die Another Day - all for which the company has been acclaimed for. Since then the company's ambitions have been much more varied as they now produce books, posters, and webites. In 2004 the company branched out with "Lighting Productions". The most significant change in the company was the start of a partnership with EG Toons. With plans for the first ever BSP filmed comedy series, entitled Broke, the company celebrates it's fourth year of producing.
The name, "Broken Sword Productions" came about during the company's first ever performance in 2002 when a sword broke during Romeo & Juliet to laughter and applause. This became a symbol for the company and it was christened "The Broken Sword Theatre Company," when the company moved on to other aspects of entertainment it was re-named "Broken Sword Productions."
