Junín is a municipality (partido) in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its capital is the city of Junín.

Junín occupies an area of 2,253 km², with a population of 88,664 inhabitants (2001 census [INDEC]). The population density reaches 39.4 inhabitants/km².
It limits to the northwest with General Arenales, to the northeast with Rojas, to the east with Chacabuco, to the southeast with Bragado, to the south with General Viamonte, to the southwest with Lincoln and to the west with Leandro N. Alem.
