The Larkin Building may refer to the Larkin Administration Building, a building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, built in 1904 in Buffalo, New York and demolished in 1950.
A later, 110-floor (368.2 meter) skyscraper by this name was proposed to be built in 1930 in New York City, New York, United States. It was going to be made mainly of stone and steel, and used primarily as office space. However, the tall structure was cancelled.
Frank Lloyd Wright claims that he made a number of innovations in the construction of the Larkin Building including air conditioning, plate-glass windows, integral desk furniture, suspended toilet bowls, and so on. Whether his claims are true or not is still unknown and will probably never be known for sure. However, there is no doubt that Wright had a love for new technologies.
