Lincoln Central railway station serves Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. The building was designed in 1848 for the Great Northern Railway by J H Taylor.
There are five platforms at the station, numbered 3 to 7:
- Platforms 1 and 2 were previously situated where a carpark now is.
- Platforms three and four are terminating platforms for services to the east, usually to Peterborough, and occasionally to Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
- Platform 5, nearest the station entrance, serves all arrivals from the west; terminating arrivals from Nottingham and Newark North Gate alight here and depart from platform 6 while those from Sheffield alight here and depart from platform 7.
- Platform 6 serves through arrivals from the east and all departures to Nottingham and Newark North Gate.
- Platform 7 serves departures for Sheffield and Doncaster.
Lincoln Central is now the only station in Lincoln, after the closure of Lincoln St. Marks in 1985.
