[edit] Characters
[edit] Students
- Jimmy Hopkins: Gerry Rosenthal
The protagonist of the game, the player controls Jimmy and guides him in his quest to survive Bullworth. Jimmy's often-remarried mother dumped him on the school's doorstep. Prone to violence and unwilling to trust other people, Jimmy is a relatively decent kid who possesses a level of perspective most of his fellow students don't. - Gary Smith: Peter Vack
The main antagonist of the game, Gary is described by other characters as "a sociopath". He considers himself smarter than everyone and wants to run the school. He was initially a friend to Jimmy, but he turns against Jimmy near the end of Chapter 1. Gary's school uniform is a dirty teal color, of which his is the only, and he has a scar over his right eye. In the end, he is defeated by Jimmy and expelled from the school (though in the "Endless Summer" chapter after beating the game he can be heard being called to the principal's office). - Peter "Petey" Kowalski: Matt Bush
A smaller than average guy who has trouble fitting in with any group. He's picked on by Gary as he is perceived as a wimp. His main hobbies are TV and videogames, but he also enjoys art. He wears a pink collar shirt under his sweater instead of the traditional white. In the end, he becomes head of the school, with Jimmy's assistance.
[edit] Bullies
The clique lowest in the pecking order on campus, the Bullies leave the other cliques alone, but will shove around anyone else, even the girls and little kids. They wear untucked white polo shirts.
- Russell Northrop: Cody Melton
The hulking leader of the bullies. Despite his behavior and speech problem, Russell is incredibly strong. After Chapter 1 he becomes a staunch ally of Jimmy's, helping in several missions. He can also be hired to back Jimmy up. He is arguably the hardest kid to overcome in a fight. - Trent Northwick: Jaime McAdams
This bully is a member of the photography club and a yo-yo enthusiast. He especially enjoys taking pictures of the girls on campus. He may be bisexual (he's one of five boys in the game who will kiss Jimmy), and, possibly because of this, is constantly concerned about what the girls think of him. He also seems to have acne on his forehead. - Davis: Geoff Wigdor
A bully who attacks Jimmy with a slingshot near the beginning of the game because he thought Jimmy was Crabblesnitch's snitch. - Ethan:
A black bully. - Troy Miller: Evan Weinstein
A bully with a "tough guy" voice. - Tom: Conor Paolo
Skinny, brown haired bully. He's the mascot for the Bullworth Bullhorns football team. - Wade: Matt Monroe
Bully with red hair.
[edit] Nerds
The nerds are easy to spot. They wear green and generally have bad posture and grooming.
- Earnest: Jesse Tendler
Leader of the nerds and would-be class president. He has problems dealing with the jocks during his campaign and asks Jimmy for help. He also seems to be going through puberty, as can be verified from when he makes Jimmy take some lewd pictures of Mandy, the cheerleader (while badly veiling the idea as part of his plan to overthrow the jocks). - Algie: Brett Tabisel
Short for 'Algernon'. A tubby, mama's-boy nerd with a weak bladder and strange interests. This has saddled him with the name "Pee Stain", and he is considered the least cool kid in the entire school. He also has a fetish for blonde women and his clothes don't seem to fit. Easy to spot due to the fact that he rarely zips his pants up. - Melvin O'Conner: Charlie Saxton
A pudgy nerd, Melvin's diverse interests include medieval theater, chess, astronomy, and table top role playing games. His favorite game is Grottos and Gremlins, a play on Dungeons and Dragons. Melvin considers role-playing to be the high point of human achievement. During the game, He wants Jimmy to get his character sheets back from the bullies and if he pulls it off he can have 10 grotes (Meaning 10 bucks) and pick from Melvin's so-called "wenches". - Bucky Pasteur: Tim Wersan
A buck-toothed nerd who awards Jimmy his skateboard for helping him deal with the bullies. It could be argued that Bucky has feelings for Beatrice (see below), as can be seen in Beatrice's diary about Bucky's reaction to her feelings for Jimmy. - Donald: Jimmy Walsh
A blonde nerd. Similar in appearance to Bucky, with neater hair. - Fatty: Ryan Cotler
An overweight nerd whom Jimmy has to wrestles repeatedly during gym class. Notorious for his terrible body odor, and holder of the high score in ConSumo. He often introduces himself with the phrase, "Fatty has arrived!" - Cornelius: Chaz Stevens
A black nerd with a strong resemblance to Steve Urkel. Notable for falling down when he tries to fight. Fond of theater, and once played Juliet in the school play. This could be a hint that he is homosexual, as Jimmy has the option to give him flowers and kiss him. - Thad: Kevin Cahoon
A skinny redhead nerd with bad posture and a strong appreciation for Mandy. - Beatrice Trudeau: Caitlin Greer
A female nerd, Beatrice is often picked on by the more attractive girls at the school, especially Mandy. She is the female lead of Chapter 1. She first hates Jimmy then starts to have feelings for him. She aspires to be some sort of doctor, and to find the cure for cancer.
[edit] Preppies
The preppies can be recognized by their Aquaberry sweater vests and generally tucked-in appearance.
- Derby Harrington: John LaVelle
Snobbish leader of the preppies and WASP among WASPs. Later in life, he becomes a congressman. His name is pronounced "Darby", but spelt "Derby" in the British fashion; certain of the preppies appear to have faux-British pretensions (see Tad Smith Althorp-Smith below). - Tad Smith-Althorp Smith: Baron Vaughn
An admitted nouveau riche preppie, Tad has little use for anyone he considers of lower station. He is disturbingly well versed in the legalities of what does and does not constitute inbreeding. He speaks in a fake "English accent" because he really wants to be British, and as a self admitted cover up for the fact he is Nouveau Riche. He also has webbed toes on one foot, as a result of the aforementioned inbreeding (he tells Jimmy that his parents were first cousins, but that that is "legal, my friend. Legal!"). - Pinky: Kaija Matiss
A preppie girl with a princess complex. She was betrothed to Derby, despite the fact that they're first cousins, but dumped him after he was 3 minutes late for a date, and took to Jimmy instead. She is a member of the cheerleading squad and is the female lead of Chapter 2. - Bif Taylor: Andrew Rannells
The preppie boxing champion. - Bryce Montrose: Ben Levin
An auburn haired preppie who can be seen practicing boxing in the boxing area in Bullworth. Looks almost identical to Justin. - Chad: Brandon Gill
Black preppie who keeps his right hand wrapped in tape. He also has a bull dog that attacks Jimmy if he gets too close. - Gord: Andrew Gehling
He earns the wrath of Johnny Vincent for dating Lola. Despite his date with Lola, however, he is one of the five boys Jimmy can woo. His father is a trial lawyer. Has dark brown hair. - Justin Vandervelde: Jaesun Celebre
An auburn haired preppie. He buys an advance copy of Mr. Hattrick's tests, and then sells the answers to the other students. - Parker:Cory Anker
A preppie who at the beginning of Chapter 2 invites Jimmy to the Boxing ring. Has black hair.
[edit] Greasers
The greasers are a bunch of 1950s throwbacks, with slicked back hair and leather or denim jackets.
- Johnny Vincent: Rocco Rosanio
Hot-tempered leader of the greasers and president of the Bullworth Hot Rod Club. He's hopelessly devoted to Lola, despite her infidelity. - Lola: Phoebe Strole
Johnny's manipulative, attention-seeking, promiscuous girlfriend. She is the female lead of Chapter 3. Never gets in trouble for not wearing her school uniform. - Hal: Leonard Spinelli
Noteably overweight greaser. - Lefty Mancini: Louie Torrellas
Smaller greaser with black hair and a denim jacket. - Lucky: Mike Nathan
Mid-sized greaser with red hair and a denim jacket. - Norton: Adam Chandler-Berat
The only black member of the greasers. He attacks Jimmy with a large sledgehammer in one of the missions, but it (the hammer) is never seen again afterwards (or, for that matter, before that mission). - Peanut: Joe Aro
Mid-sized greaser with a leather jacket and black hair. He is often found egging the boys' dorm at night. - Ricky: TJ Del Reno
Mid-sized greaser with a leather jacket and brown hair. He helps Jimmy get his bike racing trophy back from the Preppies in Chapter 2. - Vance: William De Vizia
Often seen near the entrance of the auto shop in the afternoon. Has the option to be given flowers and kissed. Wears a leather jacket and has red hair.
[edit] Jocks
Varsity jocks will wear letterman's jackets. The lower ranking jocks wear letterman sweaters.
- Ted Sinclair: Alex Cendese
Quarterback of the school football team and alpha male among the jocks. He's also running against Earnest in the School Election. - Mandy Wiles: Elena Franklin
Queen bee of the Bullworth cheerleaders. She is the female lead of Chapter 4. She is very mean towards Beatrice, but admittedly insecure. - Damon West: Ben Curtis
Linebacker for the Bullworth Bullhorns, Damon's favorite things are football and shoving around anyone weaker than he is. He has a tendency to repeat whatever someone else says, otherwise speaking in short, elementary sentences. - Bo: Jason Fuchs
The smaller black jock. - Casey: Dimitri Michann
A big jock with wavy blonde hair. Always wears a cap. - Dan: Matt Sauerhoff
A smaller jock with red hair. Refers to his biceps as "the big guns". - Juri (pronounced Yoo-ree): Lloyd Floyd
A jock with a Russian accent. - Kirby: Chris Kromer
One of the shorter jocks, and a closeted homosexual. In the "Movie Tickets" mission, he can be seen running away with Trent after Jimmy catches them apparently on a date together. Insecure and ashamed of his sexual preference, he will always tell Jimmy not to say anything if kissed by him. Notable for calling out thanks when knee-dropped in the groin. Has brown hair and wears a letterman sweater. - Luis: Adam Scarimbolo
Brown haired jock who hangs out with Damon a lot. Stupid even compared to the other jocks, was unable to read the word "president".
[edit] Others
The students who aren't part of any of the cliques wear dark teal uniforms.
- Angie Ng: Sue Jean Kim
The shy and bespectacled member of the cheerleading squad. She loves bunnies, and seems to be one of the nicer people on campus. - Christy: Maine Anders
A very attractive looking red haired girl. Christy loves to gossip about everyone, and loves making out. She is a member of the cheerleading squad. She also occasionally talks about setting the school on fire. - Constantinos: Mathew Stadelman
An obnoxious jerk who enjoys taunting Jimmy. White, skinny and black haired. He's the unfortunate target in the minigame 'Penalty Shots'. - Eunice Pound: Cody Rose
A fat and particularly unattractive girl who falls in love with Jimmy after he retrieves a box of chocolates that were stolen from her. She's the first girl you will kiss in the game. She will kiss Jimmy even if he's wearing an outfit that makes the other girls laugh at him and reject his advances. - Ivan:
A skinny brown-haired white kid with a flop-top haircut. - Gordon:
Not the same person as the preppie Gord. Has brown hair. - Lance: Dylan Schneider
A black student. Has the exact same build and outfit as Trevor. - Ray: John Walker
A tubby but very friendly guy. - Trevor: Adam Serwer
A black student. Very similar in appearance to Lance, but his facial features are smoother and his hair is straighter.
[edit] Prefects
The prefects are the Bullworth equivalent of the police department, and provide law enforcement around campus.
- "The Punishment Prefect": A prefect with a buzzcut. Name unknown. He's the one who gives Jimmy a chore for his detention. He appears to be the highest ranking prefect, and he's the one who takes Jimmy's slingshot from him during the final mission.
- Edward Seymour II: Ryan King
A Bullworth prefect who enjoys abusing his authority. He is a member of the sailing and yacht club. He is also attempting to become a police officer. - A black prefect. Name unknown.
- A prefect with a flat top haircut. Looks like Edward without his glasses. Name unknown.
[edit] Little Kids
The little kids wear the same dark teal colors as the non-clique students. They'll tattle on Jimmy if they see him fighting, trying to break into lockers or otherwise breaking rules.
- Gloria: Lea Ostner
A black girl and nerd in training who greets Jimmy with "Doctor Livingston, I presume?" - Karen: Cai Oglesby
A friendly girl with blonde hair. - Melody: Shannon Amabile
A black haired girl. - Pedro: Daniel Tay
The smallest boy in school, Pedro is a target for the bullies. He wishes he could be big and strong like Jimmy. - Sheldon:John Magaro
Sheldon speaks in a very high pitched voice and is convinced that Dr. Crabblesnitch is his friend.
[edit] Townies
The townies are not actually students at Bullworth. They don't dress in uniforms, but tend to wear the color orange in some form or other in their outfits. Some townies are referred as dropouts.
- Zoe: Molly Fox
A former student at Bullworth, Zoe was expelled after complaining about the gym teacher, Mr. Burton, hitting on her, so she holds a grudge against the school. She is the female lead of Chapter 5 and is the only one of Jimmy's love interests that participates directly in the story. The game's final cut scene ends with a shot of Jimmy and Zoe kissing. In Chapter 6 she is re-enrolled at Bullworth. - Edgar Munsen: Jan Milewicz
The leader of the townies. He confesses that he didn't go to Bullworth because his mother couldn't afford to send him, and disliked the fact that the Bullworth students ran wild over the town. - Omar Romero: James Kennedy
Another townie, Edgar's right hand man. He's the one that starts the fire in the Bullworth gym. - Gurney:
A townie that Jimmy can hire as backup. - Leon:
The black townie. Can be hired. - Otto Tyler:
A townie that gives Jimmy an errand throwing water balloons. - A townie in a white tank top. Name currently unknown. Will accept gifts from and kiss Jimmy.
[edit] Faculty
[edit] Teachers
- Dr. Watts: Jarel Davidow
Bullworth's chemistry teacher. He seems to have performed some experiments on himself which do not help his mental state. - Dr. Slawter: Kurt Rhodes
The rather morbid biology and life sciences teacher. His hobby is taxidermy. - Ms. Dierdre Philips: Blair Ross
The fine arts and photography teacher. She takes to helping Mr. Galloway, with whom she is romantically involved, with his drinking problems. Notably, she is also one of the few teachers that has no real problems with Jimmy, although she berates him for referring to her as "Miss Philips". She is also one of the people who knows about the hobo. - Mr. Hattrick: Charles Turner
The math teacher, and least popular teacher in the school. Arrogant and self righteous, and tyrannical to his students. He frequently butts heads with Mr. Galloway for his drinking habit, at one point even guilting him into enrolling in an asylum. He has also been known to sell test answers to richer students, which gets him fired in the end. - Mr. Lionel Galloway: Robert Stanton
Bullworth's English teacher takes his subject seriously but is prone to drinking heavily when upset. Of all the teachers, he seems most fond of Jimmy, who he compares to Niccolò Machiavelli. It should be noted that aside from Ms Philips, he's also the only teacher Jimmy doesn't hold hostility towards. - Mr. Burton: Michael Boyle
A former pro football player who now serves as gym teacher. He has a very drill sergeant-like approach to teaching. He encourages bullying, and has also been known to hit on the female students. At the end of Chapter 5, he is supposedly fired. - Mr. Wiggins: Gary Yudman
The history teacher. Has no role in the story at all, but can be found walking around campus occasionally. - Neil: Jesse Lenat
The gruff-spoken shop teacher. Emphasizes the educational benefits of "shutting up and working." He's quite frightened of today's youth because he thinks they are capable of anything.
[edit] Other Staff
- Dr. Crabblesnitch: Ralph Gunderman
Principal of Bullworth Academy and all-around killjoy. Dr. Crabblesnitch takes a dislike to Jimmy from their very first meeting. While seemingly well-intentioned, he is completely oblivious to the bullying and corruption in his school, referring to it as "school spirit". In the end, he is rescued by Jimmy, he starts to like Jimmy and sees him as a hero, he expels Gary, and was asked by Jimmy to Reinstate Zoe back to the school, Fire Mr. Burton, and to make Pete head of the school. He also, apparently, always wears the same tie. - Miss Danvers: Lori Funk
Dr. Crabblesnitch's high strung secretary. She is fanatically devoted to Dr. Crabblesnitch, although she can be heard saying things behind his back. Obviously she hates Jimmy. - Nurse MacRae: Susan Blommaert
The school nurse. Somewhat morbid, she can be heard to say "life is torture, then you die" and similar things. - Mrs. Carvin: Patricia Kilgoriff
The stereotypically tight wound, prim and proper librarienne. She has a large fear of rats. - Mrs. Peabody: Flo Salant
The hall monitor and dorm mother for the girls. She wishes for Bullworth to be an all girls school. - Mr. Luntz: Susan Eden
The janitor, or as his official job title says, "sanitation engineer". He also works in the school's clothing shop. - Edna: Kathy Rossetter
The highly hygienically-challenged lunch lady. Perpetually filthy and prone to laughing maniacally, she harbors feelings for Dr. Watts (who just thinks she's fascinated with chemistry). She hires Jimmy to get her drugs in order to sedate Watts. She has a tendency to cough into any food she's preparing. - Nameless Hobo: Angus Hepborn
Not technically faculty, he's a homeless man who lives on school grounds, in a fenced off area behind a school bus. He is a self-proclaimed war veteran and teaches Jimmy some hard hitting attacks. He needs 6 transistors to create a unseen, yet questionable machine. It is implied that a UFO ship has taken him away after completing the machine.
