[edit] Analogue (simulcasting in digital terrestrial)
- Televisión Española [1] (Spanish television): public service broadcasting network, with both public and commercial financing. The first broadcast was in October 28, 1956, retaining the monopoly of nation-wide transmission until 1989 (some regional public service networks were launched in the early 80s). Its composed of two channels: TVE 1 and TVE 2.
- Antena 3 [2]: One of the nation-wide private television networks that received a broadcasting licence in 1989. Antena 3 airs general programs suchs as news, movies, reality shows, sport events and quizzes.
- Telecinco [3] - One of the nation-wide private television networks that received broadcasting license in 1989. Telecinco airs general programs suchs as news, movies, reality shows, sport events and quizzes.
- Cuatro [4] - Replaced Canal+_Spain after the end of its terrestrial analogue broadcast in November, 7 2005. Cuatro, owned by Sogecable, airs general programs such as news, movies, documentaries, reality shows, sport events and quizzes.
- la Sexta [5]: The last nation-wide private station, owned by Televisa and several Spanish production companies. It should be on air in Madrid and Barcelona in March 2006. It was born with some technical limits, since its analogue broadcast will cover, at the most, 70% of the Spanish population.

- Clan TVE [17]: children/teen channel. Timeshared with TVE 50 años. Also on digital satellite & cable operators.
- Docu TVE - Documentary channel
- TVE 50 Años [18]: broadcasting events from the past 50 years of TVE. Also on digital satellite & cable operators.
- TeleHit. Lasexta's 2nd television channel. DTT only.

TVG was created by Galicia's Regional Parliament on June 11th, 1984, and it launched on July 24th, 1985, beginning regular transmissions on September 29th that year. It also has its international cable and satellite channel, Galicia TV (for Europe and the Americas).
