[edit] History
Today's route 29 traces its history back to a daily route between Victoria and Wood Green (Fishmongers Arms) via Whitehall, Charing Cross Road, Camden Town, Seven Sisters Road and Green Lanes which began operation on 20 November 1911.
In 1988, it was converted to single person double deck operation, this was again converted to low floor operations in 1992. On January 14, 2006, the bus service was again converted, but this time to a "bendy bus" operation.
