Mansewood

Mansewood is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated south of the River Clyde, and is surrounded by the districts of Hillpark and Thornliebank. Mansewood's main housing scheme was - like many other districts - built in the 1950's during the huge building project to expand the city of Glasgow after World War II.

Only one resident of Mansewood has risen to fame, Christopher Johnstone, who's recent "Wlkn N Brkn Glss (remix)" rose to #61 in the Official UK charts.
