Maureen Hicks

Maureen Patricia Hicks, née Cutler, (born 23 February 1948) was the Conservative [[Member of Parliament] for Wolverhampton North East.
Hicks was educated at Furzedown College of Education. She served as a councillor on Stratford upon Avon District Council 1979-84.
Against the national trend, Hicks gained the Wolverhampton seat from Labour in the 1987 general election but lost it in the 1992 general election to Labour's Kenneth Purchase.
