The Miglin-Beitler Skyneedle is a cancelled skyscraper for Chicago, United States. The site of the proposed Skyneedle now is host to a parking garage. However, across the street (Wells Street) from the parking garage is another César Pelli project, 181 W Madison.
The Miglin-Beitler Skyneedle was designed by César Pelli, who also designed the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. If it had been built in 1988, the Miglin-Beitler Skyneedle would have been the tallest building in the world.
