Palace Sports and Entertainment

Palace Sports and Entertainment is a sports and entertainment company owned by billionaire William Davidson.
The company owns the Detroit Pistons of the NBA, the Tampa Bay Lightning of the NHL, the Detroit Shock of the WNBA and the Asheville Tourists of minor league baseball's SAL. Palace also owned now-defunct teams the Detroit Safari and Detroit Vipers.
Palace owns and/or operates several venues including its namesake The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, and the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa.
