I am not opposed to some fictional characters appearing in wikipedia (Sherlock Holmes / Yossarian etc.), but this is an article about a fictional character within a fictional television programme. It is not anywhere near being notable enough for inclusion in any encyclopaedia. Please Delete. Bucephalus 13:34, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)

- Keep there are loads of articles on Simpsons characters, including many more obscure than this one. Radioactive Man has been part of the show pretty much since the very beginning and has been referenced countless times. He's also had action figures and a real-life comic book series since 1994. - Keep. This character is a running recurrent character in the most successful animated series of all time, and features in computer games and merchandising. Therefore, it achieves some level of notability. If this were a one-off character, it would only be appropriate to feature in the relevant season guide section. Google gives 47,000 hits for Radioactive Man, indicating that the name has wider use than a one-off minor joke. Average Earthman 11:17, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Odd that he debuted in the 1950's. Most of the long-running character who debuted them were revamps of older characters (the Flash, Green Lantnern, etc.) ````Enda80
