- Rocquigny was the small village in France where my father was taken prisoner of war on 24th March, 1918, after serving in the British army in France and Belgium since April, 1915. Having written a short history of his service with the 7th Battalion, City of London Regiment, I have often wondered what the modern "village" is like.
