Sean Durfy

Sean Durfy, businessman, born St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, is the current president of WestJet responsible for the day-to-day operations of Canada's second largest airline.
Durfy, educated at Dalhousie University with a major in Marketing and Finance attained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has held positions at General Motors Super Group, MacLaren Lintas, Honeywell Limited and TransAlta Energy before his tenure with ENMAX Energy Coporation as President and Chief Operating Officer. Durfy joined WesJet in 2004 as Executive Vice-President and in August 2006 was given the post of President.
