Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Located in Kerman province of Iran, the university has been ranked #8 among Iranian universities[1], illustrating its high status in research and education.
The university was almost entirely founded by a private gift donated by Alireza Afzalipour on August 9, 1972.
The university is situated on a campus of 5 square kilometres and offers degrees in 16 colleges in over 100 different specialties leading to B.A., B.Sc., M.A., M.Sc., D.V.M., or Ph.D. degrees.
