Single Gun Theory is an Australian band made up of Jacqui Hunt (vocals), Pete Rivett-Carnac, and Kath Power, recording on the Volition Records label, which was distributed throughout North America on the Canadian label, Nettwerk. Their music combines elements of downtempo electronic dance music (such as programmed beats and synthesizers) with introspective, ethereal vocals and samples of dialogue. They have released three albums and a film score since 1987, including the score for the Australian film, The Monkey's Mask, in 2000.
