The Social Democratic Party or Equality Party (Javnaðarflokkurin) is a social-democratic political party in the Faroe Islands, led by Jóannes Eidesgaard. At the last legislative elections, 20 January 2004, the party won 21.8% of the popular vote and 7 out of 32 seats.
The party wants to maintain the link of the Faroe Islands with Denmark.
