Tele Atlas is a provider of digital mapping and other geographic data for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Location Based Services (LBS), and automotive navigation system. Among its customers are Blaupunkt, Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps, Map24, MapQuest, Pioneer, AirSage, Microsoft, and TomTom, as well as exclusive map rights to navigation systems used in Toyota and Honda vehicles. Tele Atlas is a publicly traded company (TecDAX, Frankfurt; Euronext, Amsterdam) based out of 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, with offices all over the world. Its North American office is located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Tele Atlas' main competitor is Chicago, Illinois based NAVTEQ, each supplying maps to competing navigation systems - Tele Atlas to TomTom and NAVTEQ to Garmin.
