Tim Mara (July 29, 1887 - February 16, 1959) was the founder and administrator for the New York Giants.
Tim died on February 16, 1959 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963.
He was the father of the late Wellington Mara, who also is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Tim's grandson, John Mara is currently the Giant's president.
