Toby Bailey

John Garfield "Toby" Bailey (born November 19, 1975 in Los Angeles, California, United States) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball at UCLA and was one of the stars of their 1995 National Championship team.
He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round, with the 45th overall pick, of the 1998 NBA Draft. He played for the Phoenix Suns from 1999-2000 averaging 3.3 ppg. After his NBA career, Bailey moved on to play in Europe. He has played in Greece with Panionios, Aris Thessaloniki, AEK Athens BC, and Filattice Imola . He currently plays for Telindus BC Oostende in Belgium.

- Bailey is the 4th of the 5 starters on the 1995 UCLA national championship team to play in Europe. The others are Ed O'Bannon, Tyus Edney and George Zidek. The fifth starter Charles O'Bannon has played in Japan.[1]
