Tomasz Adamek

Tomasz Adamek (born December 1, 1976 in Żywiec, Poland) is a professional boxer in the light heavyweight division. His record is 30-0 (21 KOs). He is the current WBC world light-heavyweight champion. After just defeating Paul Briggs in a ver anticipated rematch, in a match that many people, including Paul Briggs thought was a victory to Paul "Hurricane" Briggs. The fight was immediately just as the first fight brought up in boxing circles as fight of the year. Adamek won the fight although he was stripped a point for a viscous low blow to Paul Briggs and being knocked down.
On May 21, 2005, Adamek defeated Paul Briggs for the vacant WBC light heavyweight title by majority decision.[1] Adamek defended the title on October 15, 2005 with a sixth-round knockout victory over Thomas Ulrich.[1]
