An Ultimate Spider-Man animated series is expected to be released to DVD by the recently launched Sony Pictures Television's company Culver Entertainment. [1]

The first 13 episodes of the show are projected to be released sometime in the year 2007 alongside the third installment of the Spider-Man movies, the company is planning to follow the same path as Ultimate Avengers. Insiders say, "This series is based on Ultimate Spider-Man, we are yet to decide to reveal how close to the comics it will stay."
