Urticaceae, or the nettle family, is a family of flowering plants in the order Rosales. This family includes a number of well-known, interesting and useful plants, including the nettles (genus Urtica), Ramie (Boehmeria nivea), Mamaki (Pipturus albidus), and Ajlai (Debregeasia saeneb).
