[edit] Wikify/cleanup

  • Apparently this is a contentious article, but I think A Course in Miracles could use some attention. It doesn't seem to follow the guidelines for articles about books you provide in this WikiProject. You can see on the talk page that I have concerns regarding extensive quoting both from the book itself (primary source) and from other secondary sources. Any additional attention from other editors is appreciated. Not a dog 13:16, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

  • All articles within the scope of WikiProject Books, should now be tagged with {{WPBooks|class=|needs-infobox=}}. Let the tagging begin! NauticaShades 15:21, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
    • They should now also be rated, but let's tag first. NauticaShades 10:17, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

A good place to start from is List of books by title. The list is divided into all the letters of the alphabet, as well as numerals. Here are all the links. Please strike "<s></s>" the letter when you are done.

[edit] Amazon.com bestseller lists

Count 6

Amazon.com's bestseller lists include possibly important books. Create new articles for these bestselling authors and books. First check the authors article if the book is mentioned (different capitalizations?) or has been wikilinked. If You create new articles (or they exist) for author and/or title, then remove the line from the list and update the count (+1).

For non-English books create the author article and add the books name into it or research for a translated title or if the author article exists check if the title is included.

For title capitalizations and translations see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (books).

Maintenance: lists can be updated any time, but usually once a month. Include the Top 10 - 25.
