Yeoju County is a county in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Together with the neighboring city of Icheon, it is known as a major center of contemporary South Korean ceramics. Other local products of note include rice, sweet potatoes, and yellow melons. The tomb of the nation's most important king, Sejong is located in the county.
Yeoju's institutions of higher learning include Yeojoo Institute of Technology. The Jungbu Naeryuk Expressway passes through the county.
Yeoju is a rice bowl, is the birthplace of Empress Myeongseong, the location of Shilleuk Temple, and near the ruins of Godal Temple (c. AD 800's).
