Zhu Ziqing

Zhu Ziqing (Chinese: 朱自清; pinyin: Zhū Zìqīng; November 22, 1898 - August 12, 1948) (real name: Zhu Zhihua) was a Chinese poet and essayist.
Zhu was a prose and poetry writer but was better known for his essays. He studied at Peking University and was made a professor of Chinese Literature at Qinghua University in 1925. From 1931 to 1932 he studied English Literature and Linguistics in London.
His best known work is the long poem: Huimie (Destruction).
